A wonderful character and wine maker, Luc de Conti's exuberant wines reflect his personality. A true vinarchiste looking for purity and intensity, the maximum expression of the potential of the grapes. Taking a fifteen year process to rid the soil of pollutants it is now nourished with seaweed and silica treatments to encourage microbial activity. Manual picking and selection of ripe grapes is essential. On the top cuvees there are sevral tries in the vineyard, only releasing the wine if the highest standards are reached. The blends also change to the physiological ripeness of the grapes.
The Classique is an unfiltered baby made from 50% Merlot and 50% Malbec which sees some new oak.
